The City of West Hollywood is launching a campaign during this year’s West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval to educate the public about the dangers of purchasing food from unlicensed hot dog vendors. Hot dogs and other foods purchased from unlicensed street vendors may present serious health risks to the public. Posters that read, “Caution – Don’t Eat the Weenies!” will be posted along Santa Monica Boulevard and throughout the annual West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval to discourage visitors from purchasing food from the illegal food vendors.

So my fun filled birthday week ended with a full day of work and workouts then dinner. After work, I went across the street to 24 Hour Fitness, did some cardio, then met up with a friend for a hike at Runyon Canyon.
We decided to head to dinner at SKW (formerly, Skewers). The place, itself is a bit small, just like the other businesses on the same street. We arrived just in time for Happy Hour, however, the HH menu was not very appeasing, but then again, we came for dinner. In West Hollywood, residents and travelers alike are blessed with multiple places to get their morning/afternoon/evening wake-up… However, there is one in particular to which patrons do more than just purchase and bail: Starbucks on Santa Monica Blvd and Westmount Dr. is the busiest of them all.

Pinkberry had to close and run after this place opened up. Partly because of it’s great location and partly because of the serve yourself style pumps…. Ok and mainly because the damn yoghurt is so good Yoghurt Stop has become a major meeting spot for guys and gals at night.

Hunger, the food and snack place that covers the food for GYM Bar! Though not affiliated with GYM Bar, Hunger offers a limited menu of tasty treats to patrons of the bar (next door) wings, pizza, mini burgers or pretty much anything you want, just ask!
