“Caution – Don’t Eat the Weenies” Campaign to Launch During Halloween Carnaval

The City of West Hollywood is launching a campaign during this year’s West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval to educate the public about the dangers of purchasing food from unlicensed hot dog vendors. Hot dogs and other foods purchased from unlicensed street vendors may present serious health risks to the public. Best way to end a Birthday Week is on the Skewer

So my fun filled birthday week ended with a full day of work and workouts then dinner. After work, I went across the street to 24 Hour Fitness, did some cardio, then met up with a friend for a hike at Runyon Canyon. We decided to head to dinner at SKW (formerly, Skewers). The place, itself is a bit small, just like the other businesses on the same street. We arrived just in time for Happy Hour, however, the HH menu was not very appeasing, but then again, we came for dinner. In West Hollywood, residents and travelers alike are blessed with multiple places to get their morning/afternoon/evening wake-up… However, there is one in particular to which patrons do more than just purchase and bail: Starbucks on Santa Monica Blvd and Westmount Dr. is the busiest of them all. Patrons here can spend anywhere from 1 minute to 7 hours here. Pinkberry had to close and run after this place opened up. Partly because of it’s great location and partly because of the serve yourself style pumps….
